FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

See some common questions and answers below, or call us at CALL US (916) 277-5438.

  • How many guests can play at one time?

Our trailer can cater up to 10 players. We can also rotate players for large group events so that everybody gets plenty of playing time.

  • Can we do themed parties such as Fortnite or Minecraft?

Absolutely! Provide us with all the details in advance, so we can have themed party games downloaded. For instance, Fortnite parties can be played in our 5 screens at the same time while leaving the other 2 big screens open for race car and WiiU.

  • Is there an age limit to the gamers?

While people can start gaming at a very young age, we typically only run game theater parties for games 8 years and older. Sometimes a kid turning 7 is fine, but often their friends are not ready for a party like this. If you would like to book a party for 7 or younger, please ensure all participants have some experience playing video games already.

  • How much space does your Game Truck take up?

We require at least 5 car lengths spacing, plus some room to pull in and out. We usually fit nicely in front of most homes but it is always good to check with your neighbors to give us a little extra room. Although our drivers are skilled, we prefer to pull straight into the allotted space, parallel parking a game theater is just not realistic. If your street is narrow and/or we will not have the room to turn around please notify us beforehand.

  • Where can your Video Game Truck Trailer be set up?

Our game truck is self-contained so we can set up anywhere there is level parking; your home, public parks, businesses, schools, sports fields, churches, community centers, etc.

  • Do you park in driveways?

We strongly prefer not to park in driveways unless absolutely necessary and it’s a very long and very wide driveway on a street where we cannot park on the street in front of the house.

  • Is it required to tip the Game Coach?

While tipping is never required, it is always appreciated if you feel our Game Coach has done a great job for your party or event.

  • Do we need to supervise the party?

While parents or others are always welcome to observe or participate in the fun, it is normally not necessary. However, we do ask that at least one adult/host be present to help supervise younger kids.

  • Are food, beverages, and pets allowed inside the game theater?

Due to our premium quality trailer and our commitment to the cleanest and most impeccable game truck in our industry, we do not allow any food, beverages, and pets in our video game truck.

  • What about bad weather?

Since our game truck is fully enclosed, insulated, and in a climate-controlled environment, rain is never an issue and we will still show up for your party/event. If we’re expecting heavy snow, high winds, or a severe storm that threatens the safety of our game theater or your guests, we hold the right to reschedule your event at a later time. We will do our best to find a rescheduled time that works best for both you and us.

  • What video games are available to play?

We carry a fairly comprehensive selection of the latest and most popular video games ranging from E to M in ratings. You are welcome to bring in any of your games from home if we do not have a particular game your child enjoys. Video games in general are meant to be a social gaming experience so most of our games are multi-player games. Some are able to be linked together for an even more competitive and social gaming experience.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

We require a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. We accept payment via Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. The remaining balance will be due before the start of your event. NO REFUND in the event of your party reservation being canceled within 14 days of your event. We will make every effort to postpone your event, with no penalty, to another date should cancellation be necessary.

  • Do you have internet for the gamers?

    Short answer. Yes.

Longer answer. Yes, While we do carry onboard internet, it is usually less capable than home internet therefore, the speed can be unreliable, especially, when the party/event location has poor wifi signal (which means we cannot play games which require internet in any capacity). For these reasons strongly prefer to connect by ethernet to a home router (we bring a 200' cable) which will improve the gaming experience for online gamers. Between our internet and your home internet, our coaches will work to bring the best experience and internet they can. If internet is determined to be inaccessible or unacceptable, the coaches will shift from attempting internet gaming to bringing the best party experience with only offline games. We do not provide refunds for internet inaccessibility.

  • What consoles do you have?

As we're planning to upgrade soon, our current consoles are PS4s and WiiU.

  • Why do you have a travel fee?

While we would love to go everywhere for free, we just can’t. The obvious answer to the travel fee is just that the cost of gas is high, but there’s more. We pay our coaches for their time – we can’t ask them to add time for free. Greater distance means more time to and from the destination. That distance means we are also not running a party during that travel. Since our charge is $100 for every extra hour of a party, when we need to use that time for travel, we need to charge it. Even with our travel fee, we do not break even, so please don’t ask us to waive or reduce it, even if you’re just a few miles into the next cost range. We thank you in advance for understanding this situation.
